In this video, I discussed about Filter Gallery in Photoshop and it's different category effects. Categories that Filter Gallery contain:
Artistic,
Brush Strokes,
Distort,
Sketch,
Stylize,
Texture.
These categories have many effects that can be applied to the images. I showed only a few of them. Those effects are: Sponge, Plastic Wrap, Diffuse Glow and Glowing edges. I also showed how to use the sliders to adjust the effects and how to add multiple effects to an image.
From this lesson, you will learn how to apply Filter Gallery effects in Photoshop.
This lesson, Filter Gallery in Photoshop (Lesson 42) is in 2 versions as always. You can either watch the English or the Bangla version.

Hello viewers! I am Rakib. In this lesson, I will discuss about Filter Gallery in Photoshop. There are a lot of effects in Filter Gallery and we will see that. So first we will convert it to smart object and then we will go to the Filter/and Filter Gallery and here you can see this effect is selected and we will click here and start with this Artistic category. And when we click one of them then you can see the preview here. We can right click and select Fit in view to get the full preview of the image and we can also use these plus and minus icons to zoom in and out and we can pick different effects just by clicking them. And you can see a progress bar here when I click a different effect. Depending on your system and the image resolution this processing time may vary. The lower the resolution the lower the time it will require. Let's see the other effects. Poster Edges, Rough Pastels and when selecting these effects we can see for all these effects we have some sliders on the right side and you can customize them. And when adjusting, if you click here you can get more space. Let's fit it and when the adjustment is completed then you can again click here and bring it back. And if you want to apply multiple effects then after selecting one then you can click here, that will allow you to pick another effect like, this Sponge effect is applied and it's in one layer and now it's allowing us to select another effect and we can pick from here. So now this Plastic wrap effect is above this Sponge effect and we can uncheck and check these effects like this and we can also select any effect layer and click the Trash icon to delete it. So let's check the second category: Brush Strokes. I am just showing you these effects at a glance. You can take your time and check them in detail. Let's select a different image for these next two categories. Distort, Diffuse Glow. Here is the Diffuse Glow effect. We can pick Glass effect, the Ocean Ripple effect. Next is the Sketch effects. Chrome, Graphic Pen. Let's select another image for the last two categories. Glowing Edges. This is an interesting effect. You can see the result of this effect. It's looking nice for this image. You can use them in many different ways. Let's see the Texture effects. Grain, Mosaic Tiles, Patchwork, Stained Glass. So when it's done we will click OK. So that's all for this lesson. And with this one we have completed Chapter-6. From the next lesson, we will start our final Chapter which is Advanced Projects and some commands. So stay connected subscribing to this channel and thanks for watching. See you in the next Chapter.
