Hello viewers! I am Rakib. In this lesson, I will show you how to Replace color in Photoshop. So in this image we want to replace the color of this baby dress. So to do that we will use Replace color command and as it is a destructive command so we will press Ctrl+J from the keyboard to duplicate the background layer and we will go to: Image/Adjustments/ and select Replace color from here and here we got this Replace color box and by default you can see this Eyedropper is selected and using this we have to sample the color. We will neither select this lighter part nor this darker areas rather we will select this mid-point and as soon as we click here you can see the selected color is in white and we can also change this coverage of this selection by this Fuzziness slider. If we move it to right, you can see the coverage of this selection is increasing and if we move it to the left, it will decrease the coverage of this selection. So we will keep some of the surrounding parts because this color has a very small effect on the surrounding so with this color we want to change that as well. And another thing is, you can see within our selected area the white color, you can see some of the dark areas that means it's not selected properly. So we have to hold Shift from the keyboard to add another sample and you can also do it by selecting this Eyedropper from here. I will hold Shift and click here to add that to our selection. So after that you can again change the Fuzziness. Sometimes you may need to deselect some other part of the background holding the Alt from the keyboard when the Eyedropper turns to the negative symbol then you can click there and deselect that part from the selected area. Even sometimes you may get some complex image where the targeted color is very similar with some other surrounding parts. In that case, you may need to make a basic selection around the targeted color to separate it from other objects or other parts. So after the selection you can change the Hue from here and we can change it to any available color. We will set it to Purple and we can change the Saturation and now you can see here is a shade of the previous color so what we can do here is we can again hold Shift from the keyboard and click here to this shade to add it to our selection and now it has also changed. You can also adjust the lightness. So when it's done we will click OK. So that's before and after. So in this way, you can use the Replace color command to replace any color to any different color. So as always if you like the video then you can share the video and subscribe to this channel for more videos and see you in the next lesson. Thanks for watching.

Hello viewers! I am Rakib. In this lesson, I will show you how to change Hue and Saturation in Photoshop. So, in this Adjustments panel we will select this Hue/Saturation and click here. You can also click here and select the Hue/Saturation from here. That will do the same. Basically, Hue means color. When you change this slider then you can see all the colors of your image are changing. Sometimes you can create a good color effect using this option. And it is changing the colors randomly but if you want to change any specific color to a different color then we will use the replace color command and we will see it in the next lesson and you can also change any specific color using this Hue/Saturation option but I think Replace color command is preferable in this case and when you change the Saturation you can see it's the intensity of that Hue. So when you drag it to the left then you see a Black and White image and when you drag it to the right it will increase the intensity of that color or that Hue. You can also change the lightness like this. Let's set it to 0. You can also use any preset from here if you like. So that's the before and after. And if you don't want to apply it to the entire image then you can also apply a layer mask to this kind of adjustment layers as well and using the Black color you can paint those areas that you don't want to apply that effect like this. And one more option here is the: Colorize. So if I select the colorize then you can see all the colors of this image are converted to a specific color and if you change the Hue and also the Saturation then you can see it's only changing that particular color. So in this kind of images I think this Colorize isn't that helpful but let's see it on a different image. Here this image has only a very small amount of color. So if I change the Hue then you can see it's only affecting those colors but if I use the Colorize option then you can see, that's before and after. So this colorize option is very helpful to this kind of images where the image contains very small amounts of color. So that's all for this lesson. If you like this video then you can share it and subscribe to this channel for more videos and in the next lesson we will see how to replace any specific color to a different color. See you in that lesson. Thanks for watching.
In this video, I showed how to use Curves in Photoshop for color adjustment in Bangla (Lesson 32). I showed how you can add a Curves adjustment layer in Photoshop in the easiest and quickest way. I used 2 different images to show different ways to apply it like I used Auto option as well as the manual option to define the different points on curves. I also showed the option: Click and drag in image to modify the curve.
From this lesson, you will learn how to use Curves in Photoshop for color adjustment. You will learn different automatic and manual ways of color adjustment using Curves in Photoshop. You will learn how to use different presets for Curves. You will also learn how to clip the Curves adjustment layer to any other layer below as well as reset it or delete it whenever necessary.

Hello viewers! I am Rakib. In this lesson, I will show you how to use Curves in Photoshop for color adjustments. To add it quickly you can go to: Image, Adjustments and select Curves. You can also press Ctrl+M from the keyboard to get it and you will get this option and you can make the adjustments here and after adjustment you can click OK to apply the changes. But this is the destructive way of doing it and it's always a better practice to do it in an adjustment layer. The easiest way to do it is to come to this Adjustments panel and click here to add it with a single click. But if for some reason you can't get it here, the Adjustments panel, then you can, let's delete it. Then you can click here, select Curves to add it like this. It will do the same. So when we have it, you can see this diagonal line in which we will add different points and change the position to make the adjustment. Our first job is to click here and see what Photoshop can automatically do for us. Sometimes it can show you a great result which we will see in the next image but in here as you can see it is not that good to use. So we will click here to reset it and you can see in the preset, you can also get different presets here that you can use if you like. Darker or Increase Contrast or Lighter. If you like any of them then you can apply it. Let's click here to reset everything and now let's see how we can add these different points. You can left click and hold and drag up or down to make the adjustment. You can click again and define more points and make the adjustment. You can also add points in between two points and if you click here that will allow you to use an Eyedropper and click specific part of an image and you can hold the mouse button and drag up or down to make that adjustments and you will see that point is added into the Curve. You can see the preview, before and after. You can also click here to use it as a clipping mask. If there were a lot of different layers and you wanted to apply it only for this layer which is below the adjustment layer in that case, you could use it as a clipping mask as I discussed in an earlier lesson about the clipping mask. And if any time you don't like to use this Curve then you can click here to delete it. Let's see it on a different image which is here. In this image, if we add a Curve then click here, you can see how nice the automatic adjustment is! You can still define some more points to make it better. So that's before and after. So in this way, you can use Curves in Photoshop for color adjustment. So thanks for watching. Stay connected subscribing to this channel for more videos like this. See you in the next lesson.

Hello viewers! I am Rakib. Welcome to chapter 5 which is Image adjustments and in this lesson you will learn Photoshop Auto color correction. So here under this Image menu we have these 3 Auto color correction options: The Auto tone, Auto contrast and Auto color. We can apply it just selecting that particular option. I am selecting here the Auto tone. You can see how nicely it has changed the image and now I knew that the Auto tone will look better here so I have applied this particular option but when you are editing your image then you can apply three of them and pick which one looks good for you. So to do that we have to duplicate our main layer 3 times, then we have to rename these layers. Auto tone, Auto contrast and Auto color. So now we will apply these 3 effects respectively. So I will choose Auto tone, we will select this layer and choose Auto contrast and Auto color. So now we have these 3 effects applied on 3 different layers. Now we have to pick which one looks better. So to do that, simply we can uncheck all these 3 layers and we can hold Alt from the keyboard and click here like this, that will toggle between the change and the background layer like this. Here is the before and after. You can do the same with the second change, the Auto contrast, here is the before and after. So in this case, I think the Auto tone looks better so I will take this one and will remove the other 3 layers. So that's how you can apply these effects to your images and choose the one that you like. So let's go to another image, in this image I will apply the Auto contrast. You can see how great the result is! That's the before and after. And here is another image, in here the color is already great but if we apply the Auto color here, you can see the change. I think the ground is looking better than before but the sky is looking a bit darker. So in this case, we can select only this ground and change the color of this ground only. So you may think that it is very simple. We will just select this and apply that effect but it is slightly different. Let me show you. Here is the image that was before and now we will select the quick selection tool from here and make the selection of that ground. Let's press Ctrl+J to duplicate that part. So now if you apply the Auto color to this layer you can see it is not the effect that we got before. That means it is different to apply any effect to part of an image than the entire image. So we have to duplicate this layer and we will uncheck this one. So we will apply our effect within this entire image. Auto color. So now we will hold Ctrl and click this layer in which we have selected the ground only. So now we have that selection, now we will select the mask to mask the sky. So that's how we have applied that effect to our selected area instead of the entire image. And the sky is within this layer. And now we don't need this layer anymore, we can delete it. That's how you can apply these 3 Auto color correction options in Photoshop. The Auto tone, Auto contrast and Auto color. So from the next lesson, I will discuss about various manual adjustments or manual color correction options that you can apply to your images. So stay connected subscribing to this channel, and see you in the next lesson. Thanks for watching.

Hello viewers! I am Rakib. In the previous lesson you have learned how to layer mask in Photoshop and in this lesson you are gonna be learning how to create a clipping mask in Photoshop. So in this photo frame we want to insert a photo and to do that we are gonna be using Clipping mask. So let's insert an image, drag and drop it here and we will hold shift and drag from the corner to increase it. Let's place it here. Now we have to make selection of this area. To do that we will select this layer and we will select the Magic wand tool to make the selection, we will click here, and that's it. So we will press Ctrl + J to create a layer using that selection. Here it is and now we will right click on this layer and select the Create clipping mask, this is it. The layer is clipped here. Now you can change the position of this clipping mask. And any time you want you can right click and select the Release clipping mask to release the clipping mask and that's how you can create a Clipping mask within an image or within a selected area. Let's see how to do it on a text. So here is another image, we are gonna create a text here first. Let's select the Type tool and type Clipping mask and place it here. So now we have to bring the image, we will drag and drop it here, we will fix the position and then we will press Enter and let's use the Keyboard shortcut to do it. We will press Ctrl + Alt + G from the keyboard and it is done. So you can again press Ctrl + Alt + G to release the Clipping the mask like this and let's do it again. So the best thing is you can, when you apply it to text you can edit it, you can select the type tool and change the text and it will still maintain the Clipping mask. We can also change the positioning of the image which is inside. So if you have learned my previous lesson then you may think what would happen if I use the Layer mask instead of the Clipping mask. Let's distinguish these Clipping mask and Layer mask. Hold Alt and hover over this line and when you see this symbol then you can click here to release the Clipping mask. This is another way of Clipping or releasing any layer. And now we will hold Ctrl and click here to make the selection and we will click here to create the layer mask. In this case, the positive thing of using a layer mask is: You don't need this text anymore cause it is independent and the negative thing is: This is not an editable text. So you can't edit this text anymore. This is just a selection which is converted to layer mask. If you try to change the position of the image inside like before then you see you are moving the entire image. To do that now you have to unlink this from here and then you can change the position of this image inside and then it's a good practice to link it again. This is a negative thing using a layer mask instead of a Clipping mask. So this is the basic difference between the Clipping mask and Layer mask. One more thing about the Clipping mask is: These Clipping masks are not only applicable to this kind of images, you can also apply Clipping masks for any adjustment layers as well. Let's create an adjustment layer from here. Let's select 'Invert'. So that's the Invert effect. So if I again hold Alt and hover over this line and click here and clip it to the text then you can see now we are using the Clipping mask for an adjustment layer which is here. So that's all for this lesson and with this lesson we have completed Chapter-4. From the next lesson we will start Chapter-5 which is about Image adjustments and in that chapter I will discuss more about these kind of adjustment layers. So you can subscribe to this channel to stay connected. Thanks for watching this lesson, hope to see you in the next chapter.
